Shad Mayfield is one of rodeo’s elite athletes, known for his lightning-fast runs and fierce competitive drive. In 2024, he claimed his first PRCA All-Around World Championship and finished runner-up in tie-down roping with over $397,000 earned, highlighted by a Round 10 win and a fourth-place finish in the NFR average. A six-time NFR qualifier and the 2020 World Champion Tie-Down Roper, Mayfield has consistently dominated top rodeos across the country—including San Antonio, Fort Worth, Cheyenne, and Reno. Known as “Money Mayfield,” he holds multiple arena round wins and record-tying performances, including a 6.5-second NFR run in 2022.
